Diwali 2025: 5 Days of Light, 5 Ways to Give

Illuminating Diwali — A Festival of Light, Renewal & Generosity

Diwali, also called Deepavali, is celebrated across India (and beyond) as the festival of lights: a time when homes sparkle, hearts open, and we renew our faith in goodness over adversity. Observed for five days in autumn (typically October–November), Diwali brings together worship, rituals, feasting, family gatherings, and acts of charity.

The spiritual undercurrent of Diwali is about dispelling darkness, literal and metaphorical, and inviting light, prosperity, and compassion. In that spirit, this year we invite you to channel your festive joy into meaningful giving.

As the lights of Diwali illuminate our homes and hearts, they remind us that the true essence of the festival lies not in the grandeur of celebrations but in the generosity of spirit. Every act of giving — be it a meal, a smile, or a moment of care — adds another spark to the collective glow of humanity. When we choose to share our joy with those in need, we turn Diwali into a festival of inclusion and hope, where no one is left behind in the light.

This Diwali, let us carry forward the spirit of kindness beyond the festivities. By feeding the hungry and supporting those less fortunate, we not only brighten their day but also reaffirm our shared belief in compassion and community. Together, let’s make the festival a true celebration of light — one that shines in every home, every heart, and every plate we fill.
